There's nothing like an 8 game losing streak followed by an 11 game winning streak to make you realize:

1. how a team's success makes you feel about them
2. the way sportswriters can find good chemistry in winning and bad in losing
3. that MLB TV's restriction that you may only watch 5-minute clips of an archived game until after 6am the next day is incredibly annoying
4. that maybe posting about the streak is a bad idea, hmmm...
