A use page, a gear page, and some targeted advertising

I'm not trying to make serious money off this site, but I do like using it as a platform for experimenting with advertising.

I kept that in mind while creating two new pages:

  1. A photographic use page that points out the Creative Commons license and suggests some places to get free prints from. It's linked from every large photo page.
  2. A gear list that includes a link to buy the one product I could quickly find a source for. Maybe I'll add more later if I can locate any.

So I dunno. How do those links make you, my readers, feel? Are they a good way to donate a bit if my photos and gear advice are useful? Or are they mercenary and unwelcome since they're more integrated with the content than my existing bottom-of-the-page ads?

Anyway, to raise money for shipping my amps here (sorry Kevin) look for my next post to be all about peritoneal mesothelioma lawyers who consolidate and refinance mortgages and school loans unless you have a structured settlement from a DUI. And yes, I realize that at some point every blog makes a dumb joke about high-paying keywords just to get them in there.
