Cursor focus is sacred

While staying at my grandparent's house, I've used their IE a bit for checking email. IE isn't bad, it's grown a lot. But there's one thing that it appears to do a lot more often than Firefox- steal keyboard focus.

There's nothing worse than starting to type in one field and having your cursor moved to another one. Firefox and even Google does this occaisionally, but it feels like everything I do with IE causes it to happen. The speed of their computer could be involved too.

I would go so far as to say that the OS-level windowing system should refuse to change keyboard focus if a character has been typed in the last second or two. It could wait for a pause and then change; that would fix about 70% of my complaints.
